Applications settings in Android

Under these settings, based on the mobile phone model and price, we have 5 options. Let us discuss them here.

* Unknown Sources - Tap on the box present here to allow the installation of non-market applications (not only from android market) too to your mobile phone.

* Manage Applications - This option shows us the installed applications in our phone. We can stop the process, uninstall, clear cache, clear data of the selected application. We can even move the application from phone to SD card and viceversa.

* Running Services - This option shows us the applications running in the memory(RAM). We can stop the process or report to Google on that application.

* Storage Use - This option shows us the memory used by all the applications. Here we can uninstall any application we want to.

* Development - Here we have USB debugging (useful when connected to PC through USB cable), Stay Awake (whether to allow the screen not to sleep while charging), Allow mock locations.

We finished the Applications settings also :-). Let us know about the useful applications in my next post. Keep following .....
